About MBKOM
WHO AM I...
Greetings and Blessings...
My name is Anthony W., a Delivered and Recovered drug addict and alcoholic since January 10th, 2000. What i have recovered from is "a seemingly hopeless state of mind and body". This was done soley by the power of, and the Grace of God Thru Jesus Christ!
I totally understand where you are at, how you got there, and most importantly, how to escape from the grip of addiction and alcoholism.
My desire, my passion, my Calling is to show other addicts and alcoholics that there is a way out. You don't have to live a life of despair and depression. BUT, it will require some work on your part. And let me tell you from experience, it's totally worth it!
WHAT WE ARE ABOUT...
Although MBKOM’s primary focus is Recovery from Drugs and Alcohol dependency, however, this is not our only focus. As we know, Addiction and Dependency take on many forms. Drugs and Alcohol are the most notable and recognized, most of us are willing to share our struggles, but let’s not forget other addictions or areas of abuse in our lives, such as: PRIDE, being a workaholic, being judgmental, child & spousal abuse, over eating, shopping, money, etc.
MBKOM’s approach is using the familiar 12 STEP program which is the foundation of AA (Alcoholic Anonymous), CA (Cocaine Anonymous), coupled with more detailed Christian resources such as Life Recovery, and Celebrate Recovery programs. These resources include the WORD OF GOD, Daily Devotions, Letters of Exhortation, and sharing of our Experiences, Strengths and Hope, to identify the strongholds that holds CAPTIVE and in bondage. Then we can allow spiritual growth in our lives!
MBKOM is a Christ-centered program with foundations firmly established in Biblical truth. The 12 Steps & Traditions, with accompanying Scriptures and the 8 Principles based on the Beatitudes that offer participants a clear path of salvation and discipleship; bringing hope, freedom, sobriety, healing, and the opportunity to give back one day at a time through our one and only true Higher Power, Jesus Christ!
Recovery is a beautiful thing!
Just imagine, at one time we were in a hopeless state of mind and body.
It seemed that there was never any escape, or any way out!
